Prajakt is a venture capital investor, entrepreneur and entrepreneurship evangelist. Of his over 35 years of industry experience, he has been deeply involved in the startup ecosystem in India  for over 20 years. 

Prajakt is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Caret Capital  (Formerly called Supply Chain Labs) – a sustainability fund investing across smart mobility, distribution and employment – the three interconnected sectors that are critical to India’s growth story. . 

Previously, he founded Applyifi – a company that ran some of India’s largest and most successful accelerator and early-stage funding programs for corporates, governments and private equity funds. 

In his earlier role as Asia Director of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Prajakt curated and nurtured 1,000s of entrepreneurs and startups. And as head of operations at Indian Angel Network has been involved in reviewing and selecting several of them for investments. Over the years, he has built deep relations with entrepreneurial ecosystems across India, US, Israel, Germany and Singapore. 

Prajakt has always had an entrepreneurial bug and in his teens started a printing & communications business and later was part of the founding team of one of India’s earliest CRM specialists –  Idealake Technologies. Prajakt also spent 10 years in marketing and advertising agencies handling marquee brands across Asia.
